Menlo Park City Solar Projects

Solar projects are in full operation at City facilities
The City now has four solar installations at the Arrillaga Gymnastics Center, Arrillaga Gymnasium, City Corporation Yard, and Onetta Harris Community, producing renewable energy. The solar installations:

  • Offset approximately 80% of current PG&E energy use at these facilities,
  • Save the City over $461,000 in energy costs over the course of the 20-year power purchase agreements plus $71,000 worth of energy rebates from the state, and
  • Reduce 419 tons of greenhouse gas emissions from municipal operations.
